There can also be strong gynaecology links with hair loss in women and I specialised in women's health at the two most prestigious women's hospitals in London, this has given me particular expertise in the complex issues involving hair loss in women and I have been quoted in the National Press as a Trichologist expert in this field. I am also the media spokesperson for both the Vitabiotics Tricologic range and for Naturtint hair dyes.

I am also a regular radio guest speaker for LBC Radio regarding hair transplant surgery and BBC Radio Scotland regarding greying hair. When I qualified as a trichologist I expanded my medical knowledge by also working for NHS Direct as a senior nurse on Telephone Triage. Followed by many years in General Practice at University College London. However, I am now solely devoted to my trichological practice.
